In 1920, the Russian-born Yevgeny Zamyatin wrote the world’s first dystopian novel we —a profoundly subversive act that would ultimately result in his exile.

Artists have been invited to produce work that reflects or interprets the novel we.   The result is WE2: a series of exhibitions and DVD/web site including 2D, 3/d, video installation, interactive media and live performance--or combinations of these; questioning not only our current political climate, but also how our traditional narrative constructions of dystopia and utopia narrow our understandings and imaginings of alternative societies.

My piece seen on the left, is a video installtion that will project on a large floating piece of material that butts upto a corner, making it difficult to see and it will look lthe people are walking into the corner.
